No. Family features share protection events and serious warnings — website names only — never a full browsing history, what you type, or your messages. You choose your trusted contact and control family alerts.
No security tool can catch every scam. Defend HQ looks for known threats and warning patterns. “No known scams found” is not a guarantee. If something feels wrong, pause and ask someone you trust.
Yes. While Defend HQ is in early access, every Premium feature is included at no cost, and there’s nowhere to enter a card. When Premium goes on sale, it’s planned at $49.97 per year after a 7-day free trial, and it only starts if you choose it. Your free protection continues either way.
In Google Chrome on a Windows, Mac or Chromebook computer. It isn’t available for phones or tablets yet. Defend HQ isn’t in the Chrome Web Store yet, so for now you add it with our step-by-step guide. It takes about 3 minutes.
